SC didn't have an energy-sapping game, and we did. They get more rest (I get it, it's only a few hours) and it's the early game. Stamina is my biggest concern.

Yeah but they just won by 20. They probably feel pretty good about themselves. I would imagine we'll play with more urgency.

Win or lose, a match up with south carolina in the elite 8 is a dream come true for us. I know they've dismantled some great teams and we may lose this one but I couldn't think of a another team in our region outside of the 16 seed I'd rather us play. Was it bama or Georgia that just blew them out before the tourney?

One thing that has really, really impressed me this year is that there is absolutely no "give up" in this team. Even in the losses, these kids played their hearts out to the final buzzer when others would have conceded defeat. As a result (and last night's game is another example) we won some games that many would have lost by giving up.

I give White all of the credit for that - that is coaching, and building a team that stays accountable to each other. That was the hallmark of Billy D's great teams too.

Luckily he can sleep tonight. I wouldn't worry about sleep. When you were 20, did it matter when you went to bed or how much you drank? Only way we lose is if usce keeps making every prayer they throw up.

This will be a tough hard fought defensive game. SC is not a deep team so we have to speed up the game, press, and run when we can when we get turnovers. SC wants to slow the game down and make it ugly. They reach in, hack, foul, and hit you and hope its not called. That is how they frustrate you into low scoring games. One more WIN and its on to the FINAL 4 baby!! Go Gators!!

I'm curious... how have we been predicted to lose every game when we are favored to win every game? Is that just based on talking heads?

Yep, the bench matters. We outscored them 16-7 and 26-11 in order. But Allen is the major difference maker. He had a single point in the loss and 26 in the win. I'm confident we'll get points out of him this afternoon.

I hope we have our legs. We'll have all week to rest if we do. We'll have eight months to rest if we don't.

Of course they are. They've been wrong every game we've played so far and that fat slob Seth Greenberg was crying about how Wisconsin gave the game away more so than Florida winning.

Pretty much a carbon copy of the Wisky game. Watching the pre-game and warm ups it was ALL Wisconsin. It was Badgers this and Badgers that and...oh...BTW....they're playing the Gators. I'm not being butthurt about it. It's just the facts.
