There were a few here who questioned the hire -- Law being one -- but it's not as if the fan base was up in arms over the Nussmeier hire. Mac was going to make good on it. Uh-huh.

Yep the general fan base didn't really know much about Nuss but I remember quite a few board posters saying this was a crappy hire. Some hard core pumpers tried to excuse the Michigan year and the offense he ran at Bama with better talent than every team he faced and that he was ran off by Saban in reality.
