We know there are some players that are high on Florida, or leaning our way, but to not have anybody declare during Friday Night Lights shows that most of them are taking the wait and see attitude on how our season goes. The verdict is still out on Muschamp!

With only 8 recruits we need to have an outstanding season to close hard, another mediocre or worse season is going to set us back a few years in the recruiting game unless the new HBC is well recognized impact type coach.

A 3-star OL recruit, George Brown Jr., committed that day. I think it was before the FNL though.

Our only chance for a real good recruiting year imo is Muschamp has a decent season and is clearly going to be retained

I think you hit the nail on the head. They're all playing the wait and see game...like most of us.

Two years of quit/unquit/quit with Meyer and two years of WM withering on the vine may well destroy an entire decade of Gators football.

Well, at least we got a couple of crystal trophies out of it.

Look there is no doubt that you give the guy who won two trophies and two secs his desk back when he unquits, especially given our history with Billy D, but you can bet Foley didn't expect the dude was going to quit again in a few months. That killed two recruiting classes.

Actually after he quit and came back the first time we had the #1recruiting class

Also Foley knew damn well Meyer was leaving again - he begged him to come back for that last year to hold that top class together.

Half of whom quit/ transferred. It doesn't matter if it's just on paper and never makes it to the depth chart.

Yep, this, just like his previous two classes where a third quit or got kicked off.

This is Muschamp's fourth season. Meyer has zero to blame at this point. Zero. Let go of your hate.

In five years are people still going to be crying about the way Meyer left and blaming him for our current woes? Ten? How much longer?

It really is getting annoying. Those years were a blast to watch. I'll take the two trophies and say thank you.

Depends if the Win/loss record can re-energize the fan base.
