Great googily Moggily, nuss raise was $315,000+/year. His RAISE, not salary. For what!? The avg American makes $50k. His raise was 6x that for a 100+ ranked O.

That would have been fine, if he were in the range of an SEC OC.Not that it was justified, but Nuss was getting money from Michigan (he was let go when Hoke got fired)....so he was making less money his first two seasons at UF (w/ Michigan paying him a supplement). Once that ended, McElwain gave him a raise to get him in the range of SEC OC's.

Im not a fan of losing for any reason but the truth is I have very little to do with the team winning or losing.I'm not a fan of losing to get rid of a coach, but I suppose this was the best we could have hoped for in getting rid of a cancer to our program (Butters, Nuss, Nord....Kent and a few others that Butters brought w/ him).
If we signed a new contract promising to give him $300k more and a 1 yr extension, then it was a raise and an extension, no matter how much an previous school paid him to be the worst OC in their conference.
Except Nuss didn't get a raise. He was getting $300k from Meatchicken. When that ended we made up the difference. It was in the original contract Foley gave him.

It wasnt in the original contract or we wouldnt have needed to sign a new one. What you perhaps meant was that it was a wink wink "we will screw Meatchikin" verbal agreement.
And boy did we get over on Meatchikin, gwtting them to pay part of Mr. 116s salary.
