The guy has a 8 inch vertical jump. He played well, but missing all of our 3's is what killed us. If we find our shot today we have a good chance, keep shooting like we have been and it will be a long night.

Defense, toughness, hustle all important but they aren't going to make up for not hitting a 3 in the last 10 minutes of the Duke game, shooting 24% from 3 against SOW, and 10.5 % against Loyola Chicago.

Like it or not, we are dependent on 3 point shooting to win except against very bad teams. Luckily we should be a very good 3 shooting team, but haven't been for the last 5 halves of BB, and it's no coincidence that we haven't won since we hit this shooting slump.

Early in the season the team was penetrating which allowed more open shots and better overall opportunities. The team was also doing a better job running the offense and moving the ball. They have become more “schoolyard” recently.

If they get back to moving the call and penetrating to get better shots they will shoot better and open everything back up

2 can impact, but 2 is in a category by itself because it appears everywhere on D...from on ball screen D, switching, steals, blocks, blocking out, reb, etc

It may or may not, but no possibility we can win without hitting a high percentage from 3. It's who we are. Nothing wrong with it, It got us a 17 point lead in the second half against the number one team in the country. It's not a coincidence that Duke suffered their first loss today after shooting 27% from 3 while BC shot 57%.
