***OFFICIAL GAME THREAD: Mighty Gators vs Kitties***

So, are we making our predictions in this thread now? If so, here goes:

Q1 7-7:
UF gets the ball first, scripted drive earns a TD. Rest of Q1 is a replay of the TN game, heavy drinking begins.
UK gets down the field on penalties and a few broken plays, maybe including a long one. They get a TD.

Q2 10-7:
Defense settles in, UK has drives of 3-6 plays but never moves it much and punts a lot.
UF turnover, UK get to FG range and makes it.
UF continues the TN strategy :barf:

Q3 10-7:
UF shakes it up, runs the same opening script from an earlier game, stalls, gets a FG. Other than that, more barf.
UK gets 1-2 good plays, but continues to not do much against our D.

Q4 17-10:
Defense returns a pick 6.
Nuss is told to go wait on the runway for the flight home while Mac takes over play calling. Not much different, but we manage a 45yd FG :barf:
Defense is tired, UK makes a good drive, gets another FG.

everything is plausible until the nuss part... mac has doubled down on this crap fest there is no way he gives up now

Ok lets try this again. Defensive points do not count as offensive stats. We suck on offense.

You're right that they have definitely improved against the run. The only question is how much? South Carolina isn't exactly known for having a great running game, and UK's first two games were against Sally Sue Tech and Ann Marie Central.

And Sally Sue Tech gained more yds and was in the game late.

we are two evenly-matched teams talent-wise. It will come down to coaching. Butters shyts himself on the road and Kitties are far better than Arky.

I think it'll be the exact opposite. Our D will wear down in the 4th quarter and allow some late scores that'll make the score closer than the game really was.

If we solidly win this game,IMO it will likely be the players developing the coaching instead of the proper way around. These Gator players & us fans deserve a much better multi-million dollar arrangement than that. So do incoming recruits.

Over the decades, I have always looked forward to the Gator D play. It's rough shod and crazy noisy. It's more times than not waiting on the O to wake up. When the D scores, it's always that in your face feeling. I like it.

Nusschump had bluechippers lined up 4 deep. Then he got fired by Saban for being too conservative for Saban. No amount of talent can develop Nusschump and this offense.
