Not a message board favorite, and not my favorite, but that's my prediction.

We are already seeing top candidates either drop out or being eliminated before the discussion even starts. Foley has little patience for merry go round coaching searches and getting publicly rejected by all the viable candidates. Shanahan has openly stated interested, he is offensive minded, successful coach (even if it was 150 years ago) even Gator ties.

Old, washed up, retired NFL coach who hasn't been in the college ranks for 30 years. What could possibly be bad about that choice?

Belichick is a real option. Very close to the Gator program. Deciding between us and Rutgers.

This is actually a good idea for a thread. Like the points thread where you can only type in points, for this thread you should only be able to type in the name of 1 person who will be our next coach. Ox, make it happen.

They reported on MNF halftime that Shanahan wasn't interested in coaching college ranks at this time. Take it or leave it.

Hell I don't know who he's going to be but he better win his first game or he's going to be road tripped to the state line and dumped on the side of the road.
