We have a positive test; and as a side note, we’ll see where this goes but the first football player death has happened in Pennsylvania At the University of California. Jaimon Stephens died from complications due to COVID 19
Florida football reports a positive COVID-19 case

Apparently, USA Today and Yahoo were quoting his obit in a Pittsburgh newspaper which was recently updated. Now the article reads, "Mr. Stephens’ death was initially believed to be from COVID-19 complications, according to a Facebook post Tuesday from Central Catholic. But on Wednesday, the school said it “mistakenly attributed his death without official confirmation on cause” and apologized for the error."

Also of interest, should it turn out to be Covid after all, is that the football team he was on isn't playing (or practicing) this fall as all fall sports were cancelled.

bingo. Not even sure if he was enrolled in college when he passed. I hate that we’re at a point were we are rooting for “causes of death” that are anything but Covid related. The thing has been so politicized that it puts everyone in an awkward position
