It’s hard to find the right words. Just a tragic loss on the eve of Christmas.

We had a hugely talented local baseball high schooler pass during arm surgery in the mid-‘80s. He’s buried about a hundred yards from my own mother. Every time I walk past his tombstone I’m reminded how fragile life can be.
