Saw this on 30 30 last night. His story was fascinating. He was the Herschel Walker of WRs if you watch the tapes in college and HS. The funniest thing he said was the year he spend at FSU he really learned how to talk trash. He never played there but had a redshirt year there and then was busted smoking pot and did not get to play.

I watched that last night. I was surprised to hear that he was so close to signing with the Gators.

Probably the hardest receiver to cover to ever play the game.

I watched this, too. It was fascinating. I always thought of Moss as a talented thug, but he came across far deeper than that.

I didn't recall that we were originally one of his top 3 when he selected Notre Dame, and when he was booted from ND, Holtz called SOS and Bobby Bowden about him. SOS/UF wasn't mentioned again, and he ended up a Clown.

Does anyone remember Moss almost coming here - twice apparently? I don't (though with his legal issues, it is hard to see him here - at least back then).

Though, imagine him in SOS's offense in the '90s. Dayum....

Most talented WR of all time. I'd take him over Calvin Johnson in a heartbeat.

I could see Randy looking at Fla with our dominant passing game and SOS. Small town kid who played BB with Jason Williams. That had to be a great team. All the video of him looked like a pro player playing against kids.

I remember when he was visiting and everyone saying it was a long shot he would come here.

They showed that play last night. Oddly, he should have been flagged because you couldnt hurdle players back then. It was a great 30 for 30.

Saw this last night as well. Started a thread in the Launge about it. I didn't know he was almost a Gator either.

Randy Moss could smoke Jason Williams under the table.

He would have lasted approximately 30 seconds before he failed three drug tests and got booted.

Watched it as well. One of the better 30/30's. They called Moss the Freak about the same time they were calling Jevon Kearse the same name.

Best WR ever. Hands down. However, his career should've been much better.
