Seems risky, but I guess it's what we have to do if the Clown Rapists, scUM, Ugly, Bammer, Clemson, OSUx, and others have our state sewn up.

Those prior relationships didn't seem to help one iota this year, but whatever it takes.

We landed S Kylan Johnson out of Texas this past recruiting cycle.

I remember thinking we would get some good recruits out of Texas when Muschamp was here due to his background but it never really materialized.

One would think that fishing in your backyard is easier than fishing cross country.

I assume that this isn't taking away from recruiting in FL.

If I remember correctly, Muschamp was a National recruiter for Texas and didn't recruit Texas much.

The biggest catches don't always hang out in your backyard.

It's not. The problem is that 2016 recruiting began last year so they're acting catch up and FSU has a pretty good handle on The state right now. We're actually doing really well with 2017 recruits because now is when you work them. I

I think we'll have a Top 5-8 recruiting class but many of the top state talent will be going to FSU. Even the talent that we're working to flip seems to be more Miami players. Which by the way, there nothing wrong with.

If we contend for the SEC East we should have a Top 3 class again in 2017.

This is encouraging. We should be by 2020, can't wait.
