It was certainly one of the worst coaching contract extensions in the history of the sport.
Not even subtle. Just an outright punch in the face. I like it.
I really don't think Stricklin liked Mac. Just a hunch.
With the exception of a few on this board, no one liked Mac.
Looks like Mac really burned his bridges here. Zero love lost.
#2 should be allowing that BBQ sauce to be used in our stadium
So instead of giving Mullen 4 and then the extension, he gives him the full 6, might become his second biggest regret.
Also, it's Stricklin.
Sometimes Siri is not my friend.
That's what I figured Auto correct almost got me as well.
When we hired Mac, I wondered what planet he was from, I have lived in Florida all my life so I am kind of sheltered. I just wonder what makes a football coach act sad after a victory against Tennessee? Seems like a nice guy but I don't think I've ever seen a coach quite like that. To be paying him anything for being in love with his players more than coaching and discipline is beyond me. Nice guy but something not quite right. Striklin made a big mistake giving extension but not unusual. His predecessor did the same thing. Big boosters gotta be pissed. We will have no regrets with Mullen.
#2 regret, not firing for cause
