I'm a little surprised and disappointed at how few snaps Dexter got. Maybe his strength just isn't quite where it needs to be yet.

Glad to see Wright move ahead of Davis. I don't like to dump on a player, but Davis needs to see his PT drop until he earns it back.

Not sure why Iverson Clement doesn't get more carries, maybe he doesn't know the playbook? It seems he makes the most of his snaps....even going back to last year. Just watching the three snaps he had last night, it appeared he had good vision, reading blocks and adjusting his running path. He finished runs aggressively, lowering his pad level with no de-acceleration. Maybe its just a case of Knox looking over him, which wouldn't surprise me.

He's had 9 carries in 3 years. It's safe to say he's been passed on the depth chart. I suspect he transfers or moves to the defense. He does seem to have a great attitude, he's positive on his social media and plays hard on ST's.

Really like Clement on the team, seems to be all Florida. Appears to take ST seriously, and I think he has a good reputation catching the ball.

However, I really like watching Wright play. Would rather see either play over Davis

I've been discussing Clement with my brother throughout the season. I can say just from the outside he appears to be one of the Gators I respect the most. Dude is passed on the depth chart, but works hard. He even did some time at safety when the team needed him to last year. Clearly a team player with the special teams work and hasn't made an issue on social media. You have to respect a kid like that.

I wonder if he should get a look at safety. SOS said something on his podcast about guys changing positions to get on the field. He’s a fine athlete.

I said the same thing a few weeks ago. However, I do like what I saw last night and think Davis with that group could be a solid back end. I would rather get the underclassmen reps at this point and watch them grow after seeing their first real action in SEC play against a pass offense that did blow up LSU (for what that's worth). We will see young mistakes, but also growth and hunger. I mean, if Clements still has two years left perhaps look at him there, but I don't think he breaks the depth chart at the position. Especially with some of the recruits coming in.

That's good to know. I read it was the China virus. I'm really looking forward to seeing him play.

I agree. I think he enters the portal after this year.

I don't think Boggle is going to get many more snaps at defensive tackle

The problem is Gourage is the only one Hevesy trusts to play OT right now. Tarquin played later in the game, but we definitely need to get some of the younger players time at OT. Vandy is the only game I see where we'll definitely get a blow out - so there will be a lot of garbage time. The other games could/should be close.
