His keyboard to God's ears...Mike Farrell from Rivals says NPF, the 5 star OL will pick Florida in the end. Just his opinion but thinks UF will win out. Just a reminder, hes rivals top national recruiting guy.
Thanks Marianna.
This new signing period saw around 70% of the usual haul from past Feb signing days (per a Luginbill article). That means there are only around 30% of the remaining D1 level players still available. That's going to create some stiff competition for the remaining players (and we only signed 13, not counting the two transfers....and we need another 10-13). Schools that had bad/low number early signing days (FSU, A&M, UCLA, Nebraska, etc) are going to be pushing these kids hard.
I don't see where it says "Bulldog for life" in his bio. However, I do see where he was on the Gator football team for four years, and earned his bachelor's degree from Florida. I'm happy to have to break it to you, Law - he's a Gator.[/QUOTe
He ain't worth the pissin' contest...
At this point I'd rather have us fall a little short of 13 and keep bringing quality. Yeah, we need practice bodies, but floating some EE offers over to the '19 class (which is likely to be a pretty awesome one) probably isn't a bad idea. That is, unless we can get 10-13 4-5* kids who will fit our system.
With the upgrade at WRs and QB this early signing period, other than OL what are our biggest must have positions? Also of those biggest must haves are their any “uncommitted” players that we have a huge chance for.
First one that calls names loses. Here's a lawyerly case for you. Driskel doesn't claim UF. How can you call him a Gator when he won't call himself one. You're failing on this. The only thing you're doing is proving you're a Driskel nuthugger. Congrats

Something to keep an eye on: Michigan is practicing at Nic Petit-Frere's high school for their bowl prep. NPF took an OV to Michigan in September.
Is it a transfer if a player gets his undergraduate degree at one college, then a postgraduate degree at another, and plays out his eligibility at the 2nd school?
Yes, he does claim UF:
And he’s not wallowing in bitterness:
No reason to be bitter towards a kid who worked hard, did all the right things, never embarrassed the university or himself, got his degree but didn’t live up to expectations and transferred.
Dooley wrote something the other day that it will take Mullen a couple of years to be able to reach the 85 scholarship limit. Why is it that? Can't you count some kids against your previous class and sign the max for this class so you could end up signing like 30 or so. Add in some transfers and wouldn't that get you pretty close? Just seems like we're always going into the year 5-7 scholarships short of the max, I understand you'd like to have 85 quality guys, but wouldn't just having something in those remaining scholarships spots better than nothing? By the time we come to the end of the season annually we always seem to be having a skeleton crew for a roster. So can Mullen not get us to the max this year?
He was a constant embarrassment. If there is one thing I will always remember Driskel for, it will be for the GaSouthern game. While Morningwood was struggling, Driskel was far from the sideline shooting the shyt with the walk-ons. Meanwhile, Murphy was trying to coach up our 3rd stringer. All your little twittering has done is show that he holds LaTech in higher regard. As Law said, he's listed as LaTech for NFL purposes, that's his choice, not the NFL's.
