What an idiot.
The fact that he was calling hookers and shady boosters knowing the NCAA was investigating him just speaks to how arrogant, or stupid, he has to be to think he'll get away with it. Especially using a phone issued by your employer. An employer whose records including your phone calls can be summoned at almost any time through FOIA.Yes if the booster were previously disassociated. If based on the issue in this investigation Mississippi disassociated him, then not so much.
As it turns out the booster is one that was disassociated in this investigation and from the article it is unclear how many if any of the 200 phone calls were after the guy was disassociated.

The fact that he was calling ... shady boosters
Not while they're personally being investigated by the NCAA. And not by using the school issued phone. He's and idiot.
