If this 2018 class is replete with strong-arm, tall, can't-miss QBs, why put all our eggs in one basket?

PS> With the upcoming WR crop, why not get Chris Leak as GA for QBs in a multi-WR offensive concept? Why not show Fields Chris' NC game performance and then Chris could "befriend' him.
Crucially, Chris could show Fields how not to get hit.

How can someone genuinely use 1 play (that totally didnt go our way) to talk about how "close" we are to being dominant again. I mean, we only got beat by the largest margin in SEC history in that game. And to bama's worst offensive team in quite some time.

So Close!!! :lmao2:

I wasn't saying we were close... I was saying that is where I see reason to be optimistic. With a better QB we are not missing as many opportunities... that makes us better offensively which should lead to better recruiting, etc...

There are two things to do... look for every reason we will suck... or look at the reasons why we might not suck... I prefer to look for reasons we won't suck.

They'd have one other thing in common... High school girls... :headslap:

Oh... a bad joke, I know... I hope that is only rumor and is not founded in fact...

Agree with everything you say...your optimism must be rooted somewhat in reality though.

Clearly the answer to this problem is for UF to use their own legacy porn star for recruiting. Any volunteers out there ladies?

Good idea. The same ladies could then be used for Softball, Lady Gator's Basketball and similar women's sports...

Just imagine if we had a QB who could consistently hit an open receiver in stride... A good pass here and the Gators are up 14-3 and it changes the game. I'm not saying we win, but it shows the opportunities are there.

My God, I don't remember him being THAT open. How can a D-1 QB throw that far behind someone?

Well I'm sure Bama could look back at that game and find some missed opportunities they had which would've likely resulted in them hanging 70 on us.
