NCAA president jumps on the dog pile:
I tried liking this a few times, but couldn't.
NCAA president jumps on the dog pile:
He’s an awful choice like the last two, but I’m still disappointed that the fan base won’t hate the choice as much as I had hoped.Pruitt deal is complete. Its done !
This shouldn't be allowed.
@DanWolken: If the Pruitt to Tennessee deal goes though, Jimmy Sexton will represent 10 of the 14 SEC head coaches
The UT fans are pretending they just made the hire of the century.

When in reality, they're just relieved it's over. The UT fans are pretending they just made the hire of the century.

Of course the reactions are subjective, since they are based on zero results. Perhaps Jeremy Pruitt will turn out to be a great head coach, but there is no evidence to support this. Shouldn't Tennessee be able to attract a head coach with a winning resume? And before anyone should shoot down Dan Mullen, take a closer look at what he did at Mississippi State. Maybe he will succeed or maybe he will fail, but--if you want to be objective--he is a FAR better hire than Jeremy Pruitt. The UF program has obviously suffered and may be in shambles, but not even close to the level of Tennessee. The fact that they cannot attract a decent head coach says a lot....and nothing subjective about that. You do understand Ox, that the Vol masses pretending Pruitt is the hire of the century and you proclaiming he is an awful choice are as equally subjective and hold no true data to support either case.
If you ask 100 UT fans right now if Pruitt or Mullen would be a better hire at UT, 80 of them would say Pruitt, primarily because it's wishful thinking. Now, if you asked them BEFORE Mullen was hired at UF, 98 of them would have said Mullen.Of course the reactions are subjective, since they are based on zero results. Now they are saying it's going to be Jeremy Pruitt.
Give it two years. He’s an awful choice like the last two, but I’m still disappointed that the fan base won’t hate the choice as much as I had hoped.
