They already have a 4* DT in the 19 class and they are working on several others so we'll see11/14 commits for 18/19 are WR/ATH/DB
I know we have some decent o line guys that will probably commit. My concern is LB/DL - that front 7 needs to be stout in the SEC. You're not going to win too many games without an elite defense these days. Any insight on that area?

So...wtf am I supposed to do about it?The guy that's 250? LSU's DT in the same class is 309.

Isn't 250 (247 has him at 256, scout at 260) his sophomore weight?The guy that's 250? LSU's DT in the same class is 309.
If...and it's a huge if...Mac lands Fields I may start to switch sides. Nuss still needs to go but he is recruiting Fields personally. Ugh. Do you keep a crappy Nuss if he can land you Fields? Probably. It gets really hairy should we not get Fields. I'd say not getting an elite QB in 2018 will be the jumping of the shark for Mac. It's Fields or bust for Mac.
Edit: Cam Newton is coaching him 7-on-7. Interesting side note since Auburn is making a late push for him. Damn.

According to one article, "Sorrells checked in at 6-foot-3, 240-pounds, and he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.77 during the Gators' camp."
But this was from 6/11/2016, so a year ago, which means he may have already put on 15-20 lbs.
So if he gained 30 more pounds in the 2 years he has left, he'd be in the ballpark of 290 as a true freshman.
Now what would be impressive is if he could maintain that 4.77 speed at 290. Highly doubtful though.
He's got the frame I think to make that weight.
Will Duncecap is the only one envious of those offensive stats.Kinda hoping beyond hope that we do well enough in 2017 that Nuss gets offered a job somewhere else.
Its fine as long as you dont need them on the field for three or four years. You know what's up. I'm not worried about HS juniors to be who are underweight. If a DT shows up 270-280 as a true freshman that's not a bad thing. One year in the redshirt program and he's 290+, which is fine. Very likely a 300 pounder by sophomore year. Taven Bryan arrived at 250 and is now a 305lb RSJr. He played fine last year as a sophomore at 290+.
