Grier is straight garbage when it comes to leading WV to wins over good opponents it appears. That OC always has huge passing numbers but it takes a good QB to get the wins and unlike last year WV doesn't have it with Grier.
Grier might as well get his family tickets to the Cactus Bowl now because that is where they will be heading after he leads them to a mediocre 7-5 record.
Grier losing is the bright spot in an otherwise crappy day.

Yes - just like I will blame him for the coming 7-5 record collapse from last season.
Hell at this point, if you guaranteed me at least half that output every week from here on out I'd take it.
Remember when fever said Driskel was a better QB than Brissett? Remember when fever said Treon was a better QB than Grier? Good times.

lol You can thank the new OC style of play etc. for the defense just like much of the Big 12. Heck before that OC and Grier got there this season WV had one of the best defenses in the Big 12 because they had a QB that actually had drives that chewed up big chunks of time. This OC and Grier are no different than the crap he ran at California where his QB had a million yards and the defense became poor.
Enjoy watching Grier in the Cactus Bowl after his leadership leads them to a 7-5 record.
