Yeah, you can luck into one, like that QB from Ravens. However, by the time you've won that many you've had every decent team in the league searching for flaws to exploit. You have to be pretty good.

As hard as it is to believe Bradshaw is capable of a cogent thought, given his tv appearances, he must have been a pretty damn smart QB at one point.

He had a lot of doubters coming out of La Tech. He struggled tremendously his first few years, sharing time with Joe Gilliam. Whatever the year of the immaculate reception, that was the year he came into his own. He had two great targets in Swann and Stallworth.

Why didn’t Terry Bradshaw play for LSU?

"I ended up taking a test they call the ACT test," Bradshaw said, "and I flunked it, which was the greatest day of my life. … I took the test again. Flunked it again -- really bad this time. So they said, 'You can't come here.'

"So I was planning on going to Louisiana Tech all along. Unfortunately for me, later on it came out I was dumb because I didn't pass the ACT test. I didn't want to pass the ACT test. I was kind of proud of myself because without reading those questions and making those little circles, I did pretty doggone good, I thought."

His first full season as a starter (second in the league), 1984, and all the guy does is throw for 48 touchdowns and 5,000 yards, the latter I believe an NFL record at the time.

Both were records at the time. And nobody else had come close.

No doubt great. How was his passing outside the pocket - that’s still a QB throwing to a receiver but many statues aren’t good at it? Even the old greats were able to do that which is why I think being the best statue makes him great, but limited.

Marino didn’t run out of the pocket much. He had a real innate sense of where pressure was coming from and made quick decisions and often bought time with subtle sidesteps. He still made those throws without scrambling much. He also avoided sacks incredibly well given the state of the OL at times. His mechanics were impressive.

And he ruined my Bears’ perfect season in 1985. :-(

1. Mark Brunnell- he got Jacksonville to the AFC Title Game. Have you seen how bad the Jags are? Like you have to be all-time talented to pull that off.

2. Tom Brady- Not only does he win, but he looks good doing it. So good people and/or anthropomorphic Teddy Bears try stealing his man juice and/or poo.

3. Dan Marino- He made the Dolphins relevant for over a decade, what a feat of strength.

4. Tim Tebow- who else has a perfect home playoff record with a walk off TD pass on the first play of overtime?

5. Jim Kelly- dude took the Buffalo F-Ing Bills to the Super Bowl multiple times. Had he won he may be higher.

6. Dante Culpepper- his move to Miami changed college football forever. Not sure many Pros can have as big of an impact on College Football from the pro game. Also, I’m required by the Rooney rule to have at least one African American QB.

7. Cam Newton- He’s won me a fantasy league. I usually forget to set line ups and he won me a title. That’s talent.

8. Brett Favre- Something About Mary, Pants on the Ground, need I say more?

9. Johnny Unitas- Because there was a whole weird Adventures of Pete & Pete episode that mentioned him and coach is gonna be pissed if I don’t use some person from when my mom was a small child.

10. John Elway- he won Super Bowls in Orange and Blue.

I really liked Johnny U. In fact, my favorite team of all time was the 1968 Baltimore Colts. That was the year Unitas went down and Earl Morrall took them to the Super Bowl with a 13-1 record...only to lose to Namath.

Tom Matte, Bubba Smith, Billy Ray Smith, Mike Curtis....loved that team.
