FFS, our QB hadn’t started a game since high school plus we completely gave up on a run game, WTF do you expect? And yet we still managed to beat Tenn, Miami and curb-stomped FSU. Clemson is ranked 32nd and on their way to their second natty in a row. Spin stats all you want, but this is dumb.

Yards per completion stat is not "goofy".

Teams that run 99% of the time, then only pass on vertical routes (over the top of the safeties), will have the highest yards per completion stat.

Teams that use the short pass as their running game will have the lowest yards per completion.

There are no "goofy" stats.

There are goofy people that try to interpret them.

Ignoring the fact that this is from 247 which you said you hate, it shows that his 2019 and 2020 classes are significantly better than all the Butters classes, directly refuting what you are saying. Can you read? The 2020 class is not even complete yet. This also does not take into consideration the transfers he brought in. While Chump had better rated classes, the brand was still riding on the Tebow / Urban years, and Chumps classes were extremely unbalanced. Do you really rather have a higher rated chump class over this years class?

21st in the country in yards per attempt. I mean you can keep cherry picking the semi-negative stats if you want. Almost half of the teams above us threw the ball fewer than 25 times per game this year. This is fun!

I said it doesn't really change things. it just makes things more in the open.

back in the day with a player one of the transfer he called his high school coach or someone like that who called the coaches at the school he wanted to go to to find out if they had interest.

the transfer portal hasn't really changed much oh, just made what was already happening above board.

it is true that the NCAA is granting more waivers. That's the real change.

I've yet to figure out how the midget got a waiver at scum.

but obviously Cox and our transfers dont get to play by those rules.
