Well, I understand that. As you say, generalizations and hyperbole are what make message boards, message boards. For instance, I suspect you don’t actually think Wuerffel is qualified at this point to become president, though I can’t say for certain. That said, “no one cares about cbb”, while a sweeping generalization and obvious overstatement, isn’t quite on the same level as openly calling people “greedy racists”. Mainly, there’s just no need for this guy to insert this type of garbage into the sports world.

Very true. You'll get no argument from me there. I was more poking fun is all. But yes, I absolutely agree with you.

Have any Gators opted out of the season yet?
If not, gotta give Mullen credit for keeping the team together so far in the face of the pandemic

Not yet.

Two so far at FSU, and they're expecting the WR who just caused all the fuss on social media to sit out the year also. Not many SEC kids I've seen.

@APMarkLong: Gators coach Dan Mullen says he has had players opt out of playing in 2020. Adds that he wouldn’t be surprised to see assistant coaches do the same

From Zach Goodall, SI

At least four players are confirmed to be holding out, according to sources: Wide receivers Kadarius Toney, Trevon Grimes, and Jacob Copeland, and defensive end Zachary Carter.

"I've had communication with them, but that's not my place to share right now," Mullen said. He would not confirm which players sat out or their reasonings but noted that he "wouldn't be surprised if we have guys opt-out or if we have coaches opt-out" of the 2020 season.

Toney is not a big loss, but the other 3 is brutal. I guess we'll finally see Rick Wells blocking at WR!! Carter is a big loss for the d-line, he's the only true SDE on the roster!
