When I was young, I lived not very far from APSU (Clarksville TN). They had a spectacular basketball player from the NY playgrounds named James "Fly" Williams. He could really fill it up. Well the APSU fans had a great chant when the "Fly" was on fire and it went: "the FLY is open, let's go Peay"

Well Fly had some great college moments and some memorable stories from the ABA but his career flamed out quickly.

Truth be told, I DID get it. My memories of those early days were of Fresno State winning a late game and some dopey block head coach with yellow teeth doing an on field post-game interview. And he eventually got hired by UF to bring that Fresno State awesomeness into the swamp.
