He was Belichick on the Rivals Mainboard. I’d never seen so much love for a sub-500 coach.
I have. Although some seem to think that having an losing conference record isnt a big deal.

Veteran Spurrier was 44-40 at Usce, which is a much better job than Msu. And Mullen didn’t have the luxury of facing Muschamp, Dooley, Jones, Phillips and Vanderbilt every year. His only competition in the second half of his tenure was Richt and the guy at Mizzou.

USC isnt a much hetter job than Cowbell. In fact Cowbell won the west twice in the 90s. And none under Dancin Dan. USC never won the east.... until SOS.

We've already been down that road. In those “golden” MSU years, Lsu, Auburn and Alabama were all horrific. I think Lsu won 3 games. It was the Mizzou ‘13-14 of Division titles. Someone had to go. Case in point, in one of Sherrill’s epic conquests, he also lost to Kentucky. All while racking up a 43-59-1 SEC record.

As for the job, Usce is easily the 4th best job in the East. Miss State is the undisputed worst job in the West, and if academic limitations are removed, it battles only Mizzou for last place overall.

Despite the talent on fsu’s d-line, they aren’t getting much of a pass rush.

Oh, so winning a few games in the SEC East when everyone else is garbage means nothing?

Has double the East crowns in 2.5 years than Spurrier managed in 10.5. Again, making my point. The location matters.

Continuance? I’m in line for Slinky Dog and have time.

All the continuances you need. Time only works in my favor. Keep worshiping this clown coach all you want.

All the wise ones have mostly just grown quiet rather than resorting to the hE iS gOnNA wIn wItH tHrEE sTARs route... or perhaps even hE cANt rEcRUit uNtIL hE wInS a cHaMPioNsHip.

As a pretty smart dude once said, maybe you should sit this one out.

Not a very cool response. In part because it contained no supporting data for your continued position. Partly because of the usual hyperbole. But mainly because you didn’t even ask me how I enjoyed the ride.

I was half watching the game prior to the weather delay. What I saw was:

  • FSU's defense looked absolutely horrible on GT's opening drive. GT was moving the ball almost at will until a very fortunate penalty (fortunate for FSU) eliminated a big play and then the freshman QB for GT gifted FSU with an easy INT
  • FSU's offense looked excellent. As easy as GT was moving the ball against the FSU defense, it was the same for FSU moving the ball against GT's defense. We'll see if FSU's offense is actually scary with Norvell in charge or if Sidehat's defense just made them look good.

My bad.

I mean I figured you'd like the usual hyperbole since it was yours.

how was the ride?

that's pretty much a Memphis team.

lots of offense and atrocious defense.

nevertheless they're going to stress some teams who can't score points.
