The play-by-play guy’s voice cracking as he says, “behind the defense”, and then again on Taylor’s run inside the 5, are all-time moments to me, and still just as amazing to hear every time, 20+ years later. I probably watch those two drives with my kids once a month.

I’d skipped the uga game that year to meet this girl in Daytona, who later became a stripper. I was so close to not going that day as well, but my parents wouldn’t leave me at home alone because I’d had a house party the weekend they were away for the Usce game(again the stripper girl). Can’t imagine if I’d missed that moment. I still wouldn’t have forgiven myself.

Probably wasn’t critical, but the stripper element seemed like a needed detail.
