I thought I had read everything McCullough wrote. Im ordering it from the library this morning..........It almost sounds like the historical fiction Michner wrote.

HBD ! For good reading for old guys like us check out Ian W. Toll's trilogy on WW2 in the Pacific 1941-45.

Book one " Pacific Crucible" goes from Pearl through Midway. Great read especially the details on the Naval Battle of Midway.

Reading all three could get you to your next birthday! :)
