Disparity exists in college football. Adding more crappy games isn't going to change that. If we really wanted to fix the problem of disparity we'd set realistic academic standards for these "student athletes" to meet and make sure they comply. Barring that, inviting the Coastal Carolinas of the world to the dance isn't going the fix the problem of Bama, Clemson, and Ohio State being in the finals almost every year. UCF is a different story, if we were inviting the highest ranked conference champs then they would have had the opportunity to put their money where their mouth is, but of course they put Bama in instead even though they didn't even play in the CCG. THAT is the real travesty that needs fixin. It isn't watering down. Its reality. Whats watering down is Bama, Clemson, OSU and OU/LSU/UGA every single dam year. F all the stupid peach, citrus and weedwacker bowl. Make the post season worth something. Win your conf and you get a ticket into the playoffs. Have a great regular season then you get to beat the F out of a team in the first round or get embarrassed by them. Who knows. Thats the point. Nobody knows what could happen. I would have loved to see Boise St have to play another team after OU and probably get whacked. UCF...take your stupid banner down.
