I don't know why you say that.

Clearly we are currently 5th, behind Alabama, atm, lsu, and ugly.

so this expansion will add Okie to the list. when it comes to which of Urban's understudies is the most incompetent overpaid loser, I'm not certain that Douchebag Dan beats Herman.

there's a good chance we only fall to six, not seventh. and I've been told that anything in the top 10 or 15 is not bad at all.
In the East.

Says they have to give 18 months notice when leaving conference, so this will take a couple more seasons till they’re playing in SEC?

What says that? What are the consequences? They have to give 18 months notice...or what? They get kicked out of the conference for breaking the rule requiring 18 months notice to quit the conference?

If there's a contractual financial penalty they'd have to pay, I'll go out on a limb and say there's bound to be a loophole there somewhere.

They can leave now and pay $76m each. Yes $76,000,000
And they will pay it to get on the SEC Money Train

I think 2022 as well. Going to be a lot of scheduling changes. Why would they stay now? The conference is dead.

I think the SEC should go to twenty and just throat punch the NCAA and the likes of ND, OSU and Michigan as well as all the irrelevant woke schools out west. I say bring in FSU and Clemson.

Some of those penalties are related to the ESPN Big 12 Network contract penalty provisions (obviously it is worth much kess without the decent teams). Wannabet ESPN waives those?

Big 12 is dead in a few months. There wont he any penalty paying.

They'll be in the SEC for 2022. You've got the rest of the conference already jumping ship as well. What are they gonna do, all sue themselves?
Exactly. All the rest are going Pac or Big X. Probably just K State and Baylor left out.

I don't know, at least K State and Baylor try at football. Kansas doesn't even to pretend to give a shyt, their probably a bigger economic drain on the conference than Vandy is to the SEC. I guess we'll soon find out just how much value Kansas basketball is bringing to the table. I'd be willing to bet not shyt compared to the big 12 tv money they get for football.

Wouldn't it be funny if UCF joins the Big 12 so they can finally be in a Power Conference, and then as a result of all these JV teams joining, the B12 gets downgraded to a G5 Conference? Which will then be G6 I guess.

Fcvk FSU! There’s no way in hell we or the rest of the SEC should support bringing them in. They had their chance to join the SEC 30 or so years ago but chose the ACC admittedly because it was an easier path for them to the national championship.

Their program is now on the rocks and has been on & off for 15 years and their athletic department is a financial train wreck. They bring nothing to the table. I’m fine bringing Clemson in but I say leave FSU out to twist in the wind. Let’s see the final nails put in the coffin of their program. Let’s relegate them to the scrap heap of mediocrity and mid tier status.
