I guess recruiting is like a longer distance horse race. Unless you are spectacular, very few can win the race going wire to wire. Often it is a horse that moves up steadily to win at the end or it is a horse that is a super closer. We are none of the three. And speaking of us not being able to close..........

fyi...Nolen said his commitment is still wide open and that his lists are just his current top teams. No school is eliminated. He also said he will announce after his instagram account goes over 11k. He just went over 11k this morning.

It also shows why there are so many kids attempting to transfer every year. Instead of trying to get kids to take the decision more seriously, we've done the opposite. Between the portal and the hyping the nonsense above, the whole recruiting process has effectively become meaningless. As we saw with the OL kid from miami last year, just pick a school and if you don't like your first 2 weeks on campus, or simply change your mind the day after signing, there are no repercussions. To be clear, it has no bearing on this staff or its glaring inabilities. It's just a tremendous disservice to the kids involved.

technically, we are still in "Mullinz the 3* whisperer does not need no stinkin talent" season.

"Mullinz cant win because Butters didn't leave enough talent" doesn't begin until October.

and as always wait till the recruitinf season after next season, coz we gettin ERRRRBODY.
