There has to be a better combination of words to express your cynicism.
I knew what I was doing.

A good buddy of mine, who is a lifelong dwag fan, has a son who is on Kirby’s staff. He asks his son all the time about stuff going on in the program and the kid never says a word and always changes the subject. Anything that gets out in Athens is because Kirby wanted it to get out.

Better CEO at head coach than we have had since 2010.... I thought he was going to be another failed Saban assistant, and he has done really well.

Left to my own devices, another J K McKay, Woody Hays, or Bo Shemblecker, or Ara Parsegan would please me at Fla, look em up folks, great coaches, no to Joe Patirno, some of you know why. Perhaps another Bobby Dodd or John Vaughlt of Ole Miss.

Smart, a lifetime assistant and defensive coordinator prior to Georgia, is exhibit A as to why the first priority when hiring a head coach is the ability to recruit. Worst case scenario, the promotion to head coach doesn't work out and the cupboard is full when he gets fired. Time will tell whether Smart will win a title this year. But, even if he doesn't win it all and evolves into the second coming of Mark Richt, at least he will have played for it all and left the program in relatively good shape when he gets canned.

He’s played nobody this season and the East is weak AF. His offense is average and they won’t win the natty this year. If we had a head coach that was competent we would have beat UGA rather handily.

I will give him credit for his recruiting, though.

Compare that to a Mullen half time speech: ( in monotone, nerdy Dan speech) "alright guys, lets clean up the penalties and tackle better....I know its hard but you gotta grab onto the rope and don't let go. Grab it tighter and don't let go when it burns. Don't worry about missing your assignments or throwing shoes, just give 100% relentless effort for at least 50% of your plays and statistically we should win 70% of the time."

Because he has never played for a national title or win the SEC?
