Just asking, but he has only been coaching for 5 years (3 as an o-line coach). Is Trautwein too green to be our o-line coach? He isn’t getting rave reviews at Penn St. He’s getting a lot of the blame.

So you're discounting the possibility for Napier attracting one of those "flash-mobs" of recruits ... ??

The timing of a new coach at LSU and the unknown factor of staff turnover there could help us with this young man and a few others.

That's all that might be needed. Simply get Napier's foot in the door, his tongue taking the floor.?

I’m thinking it’s more like an apprenticeship. Learn and help someone more experienced, while recruiting your ass off

It would be wise to recruit staff that would make good apprentices. Especially if they had the bonus knack of being good recruiters.
