1) I like the way CBN is handling the program.
2) I like the way CBN is handling recruiting.
3) This is not a very good class. We absolutely cannot afford another class like this.
4) this really isn't his class, he actually improved it anyway.

It’s a lot better than it would have been without CBN. No Kamari, Etienne or Shemar James for sure without him, and who knows who else. The only one I’m bummed about is Citizen as there was legit buzz around him and UF late last night. Nobody saw the Miami commitment coming.

Damn
Was pretty sure we would get Perkins

Sad state of affairs in College Football now.
This NIL is nothing but a can of worms, or maggots, eating at the core of college football.

I’m disgusted by it.

Would those of you face palming this post, explain what you object to?
Perhaps you think CBN is not handling the program well? Not handling recruiting well? Or do you think this is a good class or that we can well afford another such class?

We went from 76th to 19th and possibly could still be higher. So we missed out on a kid who apparently has character issues. He chose wrong He had 2 correct options on that table and he chose that. Hope he enjoys watching his boy Kamari win nattys while he enjoys 4th place finishes all his career.

I think you are dead on. CBN is doing the right things. I think this is acceptable for a transition class where he got in very late with no real connections, but it has to improve next year and beyond. His effort and results indicate he will do so, but it does have to be better.

I agree with this... sometimes we forget what being 18 was like. Being 18 AND having major colleges after you is beyond my imagination. But knowing me I would majorly play every damn school I could and take every visit that's paid.

I'm switching to Member's Saloon, they're showing less butt over there.

This is about standard for a transition class. I'm less concerned with "missing" on a handful of guys that weren't even on the radar before Napier, than I am with a couple of what I'd consider bodies. I almost would've preferred signing fewer and moving on. But again, it's a transition class and it's ranked 19th currently. Our 2005 class was 15th under Meyer. And not that we want to use Mullen as the bar, but after all the no-shows, no-quals and first semester defections were factored in, this class is probably better than any that he signed even after being established.

The only thing I'll say is that I've seen nothing to date that tells me letting Gibson walk was a good move. Zero issue with the others that bailed, as I think we found better or better fitting options. Not sure I trade a Florida WR with a Top100 ranking for a Texas one much lower. Probably would've made this a Top-15 class as well.

Still though, Wilson, James, Etienne and a few others are great pickups and solely on this staff.

I happen to agree with you but you should know the rules on the board. Complaining about down-votes, results in a down-vote. Dems da rules...

Good rule. One I know well. But I didn’t complain. I did ask for a clarification. Perhaps you can detail the complaint. Where is it?
