. He was listed 5th currently and I guarantee you that if you polled 25 college BB coaches they'd have Bennett in top 5. He lost by 40.......40 pts azzhole. Not 5 or even 20....40. The point is that on any given night it can happen. One fuqing game, the ex YOU used doesn't mean shyt. UK lost to who last night? I bet your bracket is fuked now isn't it? Once again, and hopefully this will settle somewhere easy for you to process, winningest coach in the ACC in the last 10 years. Not K, not Williams.....Bennett with FAR LESS talent than both UNC and Duke. And your trying to say he sucks? You're the imbecile son..bet on it. Frankly I could care less if we go after him or not, I just find it absurd that some of you are trashing him as a coach.

That said, many of us despise his slow, defensive minded philosophy. I also don’t think he recruits well enough. Would he be an upgrade over MW? Yeah, but so would about 100 other dudes.

Call Scott Drew, but if he says no ask if Drew's right hand guy Jerome Tang is interested. He's been with Drew for 20 years. He's gonna land a HC job this year.

Could have saved us both alot of time if you had just went ahead and said you didn't like his philosophy of D first. I already knew that but the debate was fun. I get it. It can be boring to watch. As many times as I have heard the argument, one that I happen to agree with, that good college coaches should be able to adapt the game to the strengths of his players, I think Bennett does that as well as anyone. He has coached at 2 D1 schools so far, Wash. st and UVa. Neither are schools that have ever been able to recruit with the big dogs(Not UGay). If you look at the UVa roster there are few, if any kids from the state. Most are prep and private schools and all are good students. He can't recruit with the likes of UNC and Duke.

This was always going to be the hire (mid major). Golden fits the Napier mold (as would have Mcmahon). Total upgrade to White. Love it!
