I see in my many years of absence, this dumpster fire has managed to actually get worse. The intro music is complete death.

I just watch less and less of espn content these days if it’s not the actual games. 2020 really broke them in a way that they probably won’t recover from because they hate their customers and feel compelled to tell their customers how much they hate them almost every chance they get

I quit watching pre-game anything altogether several years ago. It's all fluff and blather, and ends up annoying me more than entertaining me. I only turn the game on seconds before kickoff now.

I’m sadly in the same boat now. I loved to watch it every week when I was a kid.

I also stopped watching Gameday 5-6 years ago because I felt like I was watching an NBC Olympics broadcast every Saturday as they would wade through meaningless dialogue in between contrived backstories attempting to elicit positive feelings for every player they deem worthy.

Any chance of me relenting was destroyed in 2020 when the network decided that they were America’s conscience and chose to lecture me every time I tuned in

And the only thing that was ever of value were the stories told by that one dood with the soothing voice that told stories about someone with a health issue that always makes you cry.

I watch a little SEC Gameday but by the time gameday actually gets here I’m ready for some football.
If I hear Desman Horward chuckle laugh one more time I may get sick. About the only thing I like to watch is the picker they have on there , helps me make last min. Changes to football pool.

I loveGame Day. I just hate waiting for 7 to watch the game. Game day is the best day of the week. Back in the 90s game day was like a religous experience. Almost spiritual when they ran out to "HEEEEEEEEEERE COME THE GATORS" and that video on the screen with the JAWS music in the background. The opposing team knew they were the sacrifice that day on the altar of the FUN AND GUN..........

My sister & BIL used to live out here. We’d get up at 5:30a to meet at one of our houses to kick off Saturdays w/ Gameday at 6:00a. It was a hoot and we all loved it.

That was then. It’s a dumpster fire now.

I did used to like watching whenever our games were featured and especially when those tools would pick against us and we’d win.

Back in late 1990's and early 2000's I could not get enough of ESPIN GameDay. Then Fowler left and Desmond is just not a likeable dude. Herbstreit is a sellout phagit.

I agree that all the pregame (college and NFL) is just useless fluff. Now, as a 40 year old dude, I don't know how I even found GameDay interesting in my 30s.
