No you don’t. SEC+ doesn’t require an ESPN+ subscription. Just need to watch it on the ESPN app. Just log in with your normal TV info.
I have dish network. I have had them since 1999. I just saw that ESPN and the SEC network is not available due to disney wanting to charge more money and their contract has expired. Not sure how that translates to watching the game.

It translates into not watching. I just sent Disney a nasty email, not that it will do any good but those bastards need to be smacked down.

From Sling TV

Dear Valued Customer,

Unfortunately, we were not able to come to a mutual agreement with Disney during our contract renewal. Without a contract, Disney chose to remove their channels from your service.

We apologize as we know this seems sudden. We are also surprised. We believed that we were on track for a new deal until Disney walked away from negotiations late last night. Disney is asking for nearly a billion dollars more for the same channels you are enjoying today. We offered Disney a contract extension to keep working towards an agreement and avoid any interruption to your service. They refused.

We are disappointed. We will continue to fight to get you the lowest and fairest price possible for TV.

While we figure things out, you will have FREE access to 55 extra channels including Paramount Network, Fox Business, Hallmark Channel, Sundance and more.

If your tv network doesn’t carry sec network then the app won’t work. Get yourself a free trial of a streaming service that does carry it then cancel after (or keep it instead of dish).

I have paid dish monthly for 23 years and they have carried ESPN and SEC network for a long time. I am not going to pay for a new service. Screw disney. I hope they fold and go bankrupt.

Hence the free trial option to get you through the weekend.

I was like you, had Dish forever going back to when they would launch a new satellite and had to get a new new dish to capture multiple satellites. But then a couple years ago switched to YoutubeTV and would never even think about switching back to cable or satellite. Honestly Satellite and Cable TV service are outdated. I recommend cancelling Dish and signing up for YoutubeTV. It's cheaper and much better and of course you will get SEC Network.

Really the only benefit to those others over YouTube or other streaming services is the reduction of live feed delay (15-30 seconds)

Some of can't get internet out in the country. This fuks us completely. Cause I'm in a contract with dish. It's gonna cost a couple hundred to get out of it.

You just have to learn to argue, t. Your original arrangement and contract with them was not predicated on you being at the mercy of their inter business relationships. They changed a major variable that would’ve been a factor in signing up front. Tell them to get bent. Before I canceled Cox altogether I didn’t pay a full bill in any single month leading up to that decision. When they had an outage while I was trying to watch, I took it out of their bill. Agreements are agreements. If you honored your end, expect them to honor theirs.

This is why I hate statistics.
Now for the rest of the story.

In the SEC only Florida, Miss St , SC and Missori started playing football AFTER 1900.

ATM, Ole Miss, Bamma, Vandy ,UT, LSU, KY, Auburn, Leghumpers, Arky all before 1900.

I'm not checking the rest of the power 5.
I agree that stats are to be hated but I fail to understand how this graphic proves our hatred. It said AFTER 1900 in the graphic. There is no ruse here IMO. :dunno:
