I think a lot of these guys will regret it. But MC is a great recruiter and there’s a certain lure of miami that certain kids are just drawn to. Sucks, but it’s reality. We don’t play them annually, so in some of these cases it’s a lesser of two evils(uga, fsu, etc). Let them go there and fade away.

So that will definitely put us outside the top 10. This class could actually be ranked worse than mullen's last 2 classes if I'm looking at correct? I just think we should hold each coach to the same standard, regardless of one being a dick and the other being a nice guy. If we end up with the 12th ranked class off of a 6-6 I'd say that is borderline train wreck. I know we should give a young coach patience. I just want to know, at what point should we start seeing results?

I’ll reserve judgment until after signing day passes but he was brought here to recruit and bring in talent. A class outside the top 10 is inexcusable tbh

Then how bout being thorough and adjusting Mullens classes for the guys who never set foot on campus while at the same time referring to the Class Avg currently at 92.21. Our best in years. Mullen never sniffed 91. JS

Miami has more 5 stars than we do too 20 recruits in the state of Florida. We need to close strong and finish with a top 5-7 class.

Again, I will emphasize that he is working on a budget 3-4 times what Mullen had. Now, Mullen may have been able to have that as well had he cared, so this is no defense of him. But to anyone scoffing the idea that this class may end up somewhere even in the vicinity of one of Mullen’s, the ROI simply isn’t anywhere near what it needs to be to have this type of financial commitment sustained. When you’re paying for a burger, you expect a burger and that’s fine. When you’ve paid for a filet, and get a sirloin, it’s a problem. He absolutely needs to finish this class on a high note.

If this is the class, then someone will have to do some math.
Because we only have 3 - 3 stars, AND only 21 recruits, our avg is skewed.
An accurate assessment would need to be done on the avg 4 stars and 5 stars only.
Our average is skewed higher because we have less 3 stars. The three stars are bringing others averages DOWN.
BTW... the word "Blue Chip" is meaningless. A low 4 star probably isn't any better than a high 3 star. But because it's 4 stars they are a blue chip?
