CFB has 3 years left max. NIL will kill it. The whole idea is wrong and imo if a kid is backing out of his commitment because of NIL stuff he didn't really WANT to come. He didn't want to be a gator. He wanted the $$$

I don't think it's the end of the world. Again , all of our other recruits signed and aren't complaining about their nil. I don't think rashada should be treated any different than the rest of our recruits. Obviously someone in his camp does. And I'd rather him go elsewhere if that's the case. He wasn't going to play next year and we're not competing for anything next year anyhow. We need to find another max brown type of late bloomer and hopefully we'll save those nil funds for someone else.

It's apparently what has happened...Rashada is in town and isn't asking for more, just what was promised. At this point, if I am Billy, I gtfo of this place. We can argue some coaching decisions, etc...but if we don't have the money we promised a guy, then what the **** is Billy supposed to do?

Until ALL of the Foley-ites of the UAA are gone, this will continue to happen.
Let’s just converse as if your scenario is accurate. We have to believe an offer(?) was made and staff led to believe the funding is there. But then, we couldn’t meet our obligation? There’s still room for it to turn out that his side misinterpreted the arrangement, but still too much room for it to appear we did not have what we promised. But at this moment, UF and staff unable to offer an explanation, it will appear we could not pay on schedule, or worse, we’re not up front and honest in our dealings.

Big loss imho.

Correct me if I'm wrong: he backed off miami because of NIL crap from us. Now he's backing out on us. Not a good look if he has nfl prospects imo. No matter if uf was in the wrong or not. Tells me he's the kind that will be a money headache with holdouts

Note to all staff: stay the fvk out of California forever. Remember the last lying piece of crap that left here crying? Yeah me too.

I was just thinking the same. Something has definitely got to be an issue with him. Cannot believe that everything was not correct prior to his LOI sent in.
