Waiting to see how the NCAA ****s us over with start times. All three games should be 6-7 pm prime time starts, meaning they’ll all be nooners.

Man GWG, you have turned into 100% a transient Gator fan just like most of the fanbase, football especially. Just playing on their home field is not enough, you think they should be the home team each game, you want the start times to fit what you think is best and you probably want to hand pick the opponent. Playing at home is the biggest and only advantage we should need.

Interestingly even with a shutout, the pitching staff gave up 6 free passes (5 walks, 1 hit batter), which is too many, yet never surrendered a timely hit, which is the main thing. However the likelihood of this is not as likely as winning a game like the previous night where the staff gave up 2 free passes (2 hit batters). Just like today it does not always correlate, but more times than not, giving up 6 free passes will not end well.

Also even though we played the maximum number of games, Sully only used one arm not on his trust list, NicFic. One b/c we had decent starting pitching and two Sully was just not going to use those guys barring a massive blowout. He talks a good game when he always says we have plenty of pitching and mentions all their names, but deep down he is telling himself that those guys are not seeing the field if he can help it. Thankfully in a best of 3 he won;t have to worry as much.

The nooners were great at McKethan ~ they kept ambulances lined up for heat exhaustion cases.
It was good business for the sun block concession.

So happy I got to go today. Gators were so focused every pitch. I sat just to left of home & could see in Gator dugout. Players were communicating, ultra focused, full of juice. Right from TTs 1st at bat when hit up the middle and Cade made a diving play, popped up and threw Hester out. TT hit a couple of howitzers to OF, looked like no way they’d be caught, and every OFer was on lockdown. Brian Sch was in LF for one laser hit that we all thought was going to be a double. Everyone in our section was “how’d he get that 1?” Bring on the Gamecocks, time for some payback.

I was there as well and I had this feeling of confidence even before the game. After winning Sunday night it felt like both teams knew how this was going to play out.

Great comeback. I still can’t believe they won three straight

Why is the 14 seed ISU playing at unseeded TCU? Can't figure that one out.

Probably because TCU has much better stadium and facilities with more seating capacity
