Yes. Sling Blade was trying to milk the clock to prevent putting his porous D back on the field. Only problem is Karl did not realize he was behind by 2 scores but Karl forgot his elevator does not go all the way to the top. But the whole topic has become pointless in reality because the entire administration is not cut out for game days.
