Fire the guys who actually had real fish on the line before ESD. Then retain the guys who can't even bait their own hooks.

I’ll add:

Make sure to not have their replacements lined up so they can recruit their position. That would be dumb.

The problem isn't that we were statistically worse (I actually didn't think we were), it's that we weren't improved enough to overcome the stupid assed offensive strategy and in game coaching buffoonery. Hence the worse record with just as many head scratching losses to teams with less talent.
Haven't gone through the whole thread, but I'd also consider that when your defense is playing well and stopping the other guys and even (gasp) generating turnovers, the same statistical offense can actually put up a lot more points.

that might be because the coaches he fired now were actually recruiting well and his schythead ULL buddies (OL) are recruiting like McElstain. I would think youd want to bring someone competent onboard and hope to change any fence sitters and hopefully land some actual talent for OL.

It is starting to look like he's trying to get fired.

Don't he have like 30 million reasons to get fired?

That kid is what the entire country thinks about this program right now. It's pathetic and embarrassing and absolutely unacceptable, yet here we are being served another heaping pile of dog sht to eat in 24.

I get that. But that kid still rubs the wrong way. I’m all for being a wise guy, but I’m also not good with kicking a man while he’s down. And especially when it’s an adult being polite enough to stop and take a picture with a kid. He may seem like a slightly slow head coach, but dammit, for now he’s our slightly slow head coach. That kid can still get bent.

Oh I agree with all that. If my son ever did something like that there'd be serious repercussions. I was commenting on the larger problem which that kid is reflecting. We are a national punch line.

Not when your offense is inept in the endzone.

There is really no way to spin 60th scoring offense as good especially when we there was no progress through the season. We scored like 14 points against any team with a 50th or better defense.

He did. He’s a good guy who is probably too nice.

Hope that kid gets gonorrhea.

That kid exemplifies what is wrong with Napier. Can you imagine a kid doing that to Saban, Kirby, or any other respected coach?

Back in my day, there is some smack talk that would get your ass beat. This qualifies.
