It's gonna get wild if DeBoer says no.
If his goal/mission in life is to win a NC, he'd be dumb to go to Bama, his chance of winning one at UW in the Big10 is far greater that trying to do so in the SEC... if he's the type that wants the challenge/pressure of replacing Saban, AND winning a NC, by going through SEC schedules, well, good luck to him.

Not with the expanded playoff. He needs to have the talent.

Les Miles proved that one can follow Saban and win a nattie...

On the other side, he's losing a lot of his top players to the draft after making the title game....good time to jump.

All that said, it would be shocking if DeBoer turned down Bama, too. There's no way Washington can match what he's being offered, which I'm sure is a ridiculous amount of money.

Meh...Im not so sure he will say yes. Look at his resume and focus on all the places he has been. He is a pure west coast guy. He might not want to move to east coast and with how the conferences are rearranging he might want to stay right where he is now.

It is is called Attention to Detail. It is why in all sports on all levels, there is so few truly excellent head coaches.

Yes, and after watching Billy Napier on our sideline the last 2 seasons, I clearly see where Nick Saban learned to be so fiery and tuned in to the smallest of details. I’m sure Saban will acknowledge as much during his retirement speech.

Start seeing names like Mike Locksley and Eli Drunklewitz (or whatever his name is). Times sure have changed. A few more days like this and Billy Tag's name may surface. Of course that will be only after Cousin Eddie says "NO" b/c it is just not the right time for him.

I think Drinkwitz has done a good job at Mizzou. We have done a lot worse with our hires than that. He makes Billy look like a pre-schooler.

Be careful throwing shade on preschoolers! My 4YO grandson is a preschooler and he shows way more emotion on the sidelines than BN.
How's his playcalling look?

Asking for a team of 18-21 year olds...

The big issue is showing competence & intelligence. My guess is your grandson probably shows as much of those characteristics as Billy.

He's got no QB and tons of seniors are moving on. This time next year Clown Management will be thinking WTF did we do.
Agree. The exodus they are seeing is big and DJ iWishIwasAquarterback isn't going to be the answer.

They've had sht crootin for a number of years and spent most of the time portal diving. This year is the first good crootin class they've gotten so that's not going to help them. They either hit portal gold for the 3rd year in a row or bust. Based on the QB acquisition I'm going bust.
