But seriously, no. After a game like this I have seen the light. Missing 20+ FTs in a huge game like this will put an end to my hopes.

It's remarkable to shoot 37 free throws vs Kentucky. It's pathetic to make 16. Can we just end the season. I hope the recruits in attendance weren't discouraged.

Mike White deserves plenty of criticism for the way the team has played this year. I don't know if we are all just jaded from Muschamp, but there is a Muschamp feel to it. There doesn't seem to be an actual offense. Too many times there are guys standing around while one guy dribbles. You don't see the type of off the ball movement that you saw with Billy and you definitely don't see the consistent ball movement that you saw with Billy.
That said... I don't feel that tonight was White's fault. The team executed and had opportunities to make open high percentage shots and they missed. That is pretty much all a coach can do. Put the players in position to make high percentage shots. I can think of at least 5 missed layups and that is 10 points right there! That doesn't even cover the FT shooting. I don't think there is anything White can do about these guys inability to shoot FTs. Billy couldn't get them to make them last year.
Kasey Hill's inability to understand how to fundamentally flick his wrist properly and shoot a basketball off his fingers vs. the palm of his hand is baffling to me. That isn't coaching... that is just a lack of skill.
The bottom line is that we got beat by a more talented team that was also better coached, but the talent made more of a difference tonight than the coaching did.
As I said earlier... White deserves plenty of criticism and I am not at all sold on him. There is a part of me that hopes he is gone in 3 years at the same time Billy is gone from OKC and Billy decides to come back and finish his career at UF..., but I can't blame Mike White for the loss tonight.
Hopefully he can sign some kids and actually develop some players, but right now the Mike White project is not succeeding.

I don't know... he had two days to practice after giving up 90 to LSU and they actually played well offensively in the second half. It seemed the team needed to focus on defense. If it was a full week or something I would be with you... and I'm sure they shot around and played some offense, but yeah... I don't blame him for focusing on defense after the way they played against LSU.
What worries me more is that they put so much focus on the LSU game and still played like crap.

If this happens, I'll have one foot in the 'White is not the guy' camp lol. But seriously if we lose to them I will lose hope in the future (the very little I have left)
