Fans need the success of their team for fans to exist. We complain to fight our extinction.
When fans have zero to cheer for their numbers die out; they certainly cease to reproduce.
Our protesting our losing is Narwinian.

Basically, we suck, yes?

The last post was by yours truly this past Tuesday... WOW... mac & company truly has sucked the life out of GC/Gator Nation.
For a team that still leads the division and controls it's own destiny in the SEC, the lack of enthusiasm really is concerning. It's easy to put up with boring/sucky teams if you're killing in it recruiting but it's really hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel right now.

... or to face that it's a blight at tunnel's end.... the blight at the end of the tunnel.

The thing that bothers me most is the players don't seem to have any enthusiasm. Last week they had a chance to lock up the SEC East and they went to Arky with no fire in their bellies and got whipped on every front. A team who 2 weeks prior got destroyed. They aren't winning anything if they can't prepare and come out like they want it more than the other team. We have 3 players who seem to be giving it their all lately. Anzalone (out for the season), Davis (beat up badly but still trying to play every down), and Dawson who got beat badly @ UT but has really stepped it up in recent games. Everybody else seems to be playing on 1/2 battery power. There is very little "want to" left in this team and it's sad to see.

I will watch like always tomorrow and root on the Gators, but I have not been looking forward to this game all week. I've seen no improvement really at all from game to game and this simply feels like the Muschamp years again. Deja vu. Also doesn't help the only guys out there who look like they're happy to be Gators are Pineiro and Davis....

You forgot to mention Eddy P. The kid has more fire in him than the rest of the team combined. We show more excitement after a made FG than a touchdown. When you have to rely on your kicker to boost your team you know you're in trouble.

I definitely think so. After I got banned, I went to Google. Looked up "Florida Gators blog" "Florida Gators News" Different blog sites came up. Not this one. Then I Googled Florida Gators forum, this site came up 4th or 5th. So I checked it out and was stunned how good it was. This site is for actual fans... Not fan boys.

There has to be some way to spread the word that we are here. But honestly, it was kinda hard to find on Google. But I'm glad im here.

I sent an email to "the other guys" to try to get an explanation as to why I was banned. And if they respond, I'll try to get back in the forum and let everyone know that they can come here.

Shoot them a proverbial middle finger!

I love getting a perspective on a game from the 'other fans' involved, but have to search for an alternate site since I cannot interact with said fans from the 247 site I pay for, and had to go through a BUNCH of sites requiring payment before I found this one, which turned out well for me because, I found a good one.Very few sites are filled with realistic fans who love their team, and not blind homers. They are the worst. You can't talk to them. We have about a 40% homer rate, that if you aren't predicting rainbows shining out the Gamecocks ass, you aren't a real fan. You know the drill.
Maybe the homers not knowing how to find you, is a good thing. You've got a good thing going here. Having said that I have recommended this site to those Gamecocks who I personally know are not in that group, and like to talk football with a little good-natured smack talk on the side.

May be a dumb question but have you ever heard of Search Engine Optimization (SEO)?
Yes. I just did a search on how to ban annoying members with ridiculous user names for life on Xenforo message boards, and great answers popped right up. Those results showed great SEO.

If you thought our loss to Georgia Southern at home was humiliating, this would be worse. The Chimp, carried off our field on the shoulders of his players. He may even shoot our crowd the finger on his way out....BOTH fingers.

Could the unthinkable happen?

Discuss.
I would bet my house on South Carolina and the 12 points, but I wouldn't touch it with a 12 foot pole straight up.

That's some serious confidence there!

I am at the point I don't care if Appleby gets killed next week at LSU just win this game somehow. I can't even fathom the thought of Muschamp grinning in the Swamp after the game if they beat us today.

I hope Muschamp doesn't get cute and go Jumbo package because I think it would work against us today with all of our issues and the injuries and the rest.
