I have to admit I had a little grin after he did the 1st down taunting with like 30 seconds to go in the game and then they didn't score.

So he averaged the same yards per attempt that our guys did against Michigan, and he lost.
talk about cherry picking a stat. I like Franks and think he will be good (if we get some real coaches in here), but id still take Grier all day IMO.

Just saying, throwing the ball almost 60 times is going to yield a lot of yards, even if your average is crap. He's still my Heisman front runner, though.

He also threw 3 TDs against a solid defense away from home. I'll be estatic if Franks throws 2 vs N. Colorado
Oh, and he added 50 yards on the ground. Almost 5 times as much as we did as a team vs Michigan :(

For his first game in two years, even a hater like you has to be impressed. He's only going to get better.
Also, the WR dropped the ball on 3rd down that would have tied the game.
Good for him for getting out.
