That's for ONE room. That amounts to $2,400 per month for the apartment. That ain't cheap. That's Atlanta prices...in Gainesville.
Its ok Pell Grants and subsidized loans, that is YOUR TAX DOLLARS, are paying for all these luxury apartments for students.

Split between 4 roommates isn't bad. Tack 600 to their total and that's what I'm paying for a 1 bedroom right now. New York sucks

600 a month? My mortgage isn't a whole lot more than that. I always wondered how students can afford that much a month.

Sharing a shower w three dudes?

It would have to be damn near free.

Lol the showers at our frat house by the north endzone were open community showers with four or so shower heads in one space. Heck we had three crappers in there with no stalls. Made for great conversations some mornings.

From my understanding they are trying to find someone to rent one of the open rooms. It's not Scarlett trying to rent out his room.

Each room is a separate lease therefore he couldn't rent it out.

Also, due to that, it doesn't cost the other three any money as each lease for each room.

Keep dreaming man, that's his room

My god... $605 rent? I long for prices that low
My first "apartment" in NYC was a room in an old converted hotel. The room hat a coat closet, that was it. Was about 6' x 10'. Bathrooms were shared, down the hall. Paid $1,200 for it at the time, in 1995.

If I read it correctly, it's a "Sub-Lease" meaning the original lease is for the whole apartment and they are "Sub-Leasing" each room under the umbrella of a lease. They aren't 4 individual leases.

Now that had to be designed by a queer.

It's fun for awhile but then you get a little tired of the debris flying into your eyes and the homeless people sh!tting on the subway platform on a daily basis

So homeless people in New York are now impersonating our offense? Man, we've hit rock bottom.
