Thanks Threat. You obviously know the true grit. Great map, but I couldn't find one of BHG stadium of the realism of the one you showed of the IPF-O'Connel area.

For out of the box type construction, check into hospital expansions where nothing seems to fit. Look at this "under construction" people bridge of Jax. Fl Baptist Hospital - bridge has to transport wheelchairs, even patients' beds IVs attached. That thing bridges across at least 9 lanes of expressway + spaces.
They built it without closing down traffic (preconstructed segments). It's Central H & A, smoked glass.

My call can still be wrong, but hospitals cannot yield to crowding. Have to expand right where they are.
Still, my call can be wrong but now would be the time for exhaustive creativity, when it's just drawings.
Sorry to drag this out, Threat.

th
Tear down UF President's home, bridge to it & use that plot to build on. Hell, don't ask him, imminent domain him. Now, that's a statement of how important FB is.
The UF pres don't sweat for the Gators. Swonkey will imminent domain him.

Mainstream media? What’s that? “Well, it’s newspaper, magazines, TV, radio...”. I know what you think it means. To me it’s just a made up term so you newspaper guys can go to press conferences and feel important. You mean do I follow the mainstream media? I used to. Not a day goes by that I don’t think about the way it used to be. I may not find out the score of the game or know the stats for a day or two. I’d like to find that young stupid kid that followed sports that way and try to talk some sense to him. I’d tell him that in the future you’d get your scores and stats as they happen, in real time. I follow social media now, especially Gator Chatter. Mainstream media? Call it what ever you want sonny. I just don’t give a damn.

Really don't understand your point. Mainstream media is also in real time. The difference ... one is an organization geared towards facts ... the other is a people like Spivey putting out bullch!t.

Look ... I am sorry I even mentioned it. What I said really went over a lot of people's heads and took it as if I was attacking or just arguing. I was only pointing out that there really has not been any mention of CK to UF today while watching football all day. Starting with ESPN Gameday, SEC whatever they call it, ESPN2, Fox Sports 1, pregame shows, halftime shows, post game shows ... and so on. And all of those outlets are geared towards real time. Any talk about the job at UF had 10 times the mention of Frost and Mullen to Kelly. In fact ... only remember Kelly's name said once. Even SEC crew avoided it. But if you watch twitter and message boards ... it is everywhere.

th

Sure. Where there's a will money there's a way.
As with everything you can have only two of the following three; cheap, fast, quality. Pick wisely.

There has been people making comments to allude to Chip being a smoke screen for whatever it is SS and UAA are really doing. Why would anyone think that is even remotely true? Recruits are starting to chime in about the buzz of Chip to UF. Fans are in a frenzy and now the mention of any other coach being a possible hire is a big ol'bowl of poo to the majority.

Much has been said about needing to name Kelly ASAP for recruiting purposes, but the longer Kelly is rumored, the more energy that's being built behind the hire. It won't be too long and uncommitted players will start saying that if Kelly is hired they'll have to visit UF.

There's no Occam Razor since back at the beginning of this Kelly Groundhog Day no verifiable facts came out, i.e. no official UF announcement but actually AD denials.
However, logic does lean towards this :

1) Mac's gone for 21 days. If it's Kelly, surely a contract could be made by now by Stricklin - done for the sake of preserving/promoting our recruiting class for 2018. I cannot see our AD bantering back & forth where Kelly's reasonable demands can't be met.?? How many plane trips are GatChat accepting on Kelly. Those are severely frustrating as well as time frittering and involve unnecessarily leaking money. (Occam's Cousin's Razor : Simplest conclusion = Kelly's not in play.)

2) #1 on recruits would greatly benefit Kelly. Not good detailing for a detail man.

3) This waiting makes most sense if it involves a still coaching HC. And if that were the case, Stricklin would be smart to stop footsying with Kelly and process all offers at that time, Dec 3rd.

This endless "spin-cycle" has dried out my hopes.

When recruits start weighing in, you know the rumors have some truth to it.
Which is why the UAA should be denying it if they don't think it will happen. I know Stricky said he wouldn't say anything until he has his guy but this has taken on such a life of it's own that they would need to get out ahead of it if not true.

More likely they're listening to the rumors. I'll bet while talking amongst themselves, they can start some doozies we haven't even thought of. And we've thought of most everything.

How long did they take building that bridge? Feels like it took at least 5 years. We documented that building in the picture in 2010 or 2011.

If they want a bigger standalone football facility, what they should do is take half (or more) of the parking lot behind the track to combine with the original land allocated. It could be one contained and massive facility.

Then just add another parking garage north of the one that's there at the O-Dome and/or behind the Law school next to Springs complex. You'd lose about 80 spaces but gain far more. Then they could make the smaller remaining lot reserved only for personnel that need to park by the Football/Basketball/Track facilities - and the Springs/Keys kids w/ cars can just walk a little farther some days.

!) That assumes we started talking to Chip 21 days ago or earlier. Allegedly he wasn't an early consideration for whatever reasons. So maybe we got into talks with him late. In any case an agreement didn't leak until 8 days ago. They hammered out salary first.
2) Rog-ese. Don't understand
3) Stricky said he wouldn't announce until after the regular season. Shannon thanked Stricky for allowing the team to focus. But more than that if Kelly did his homework our reputation proceeds us in making promises. Vetting assistants takes time. Facilities are an even more sticky wicket involving players above Stricky's pay grade. It takes time.

If you ignore rumors than the simplest explanation is that no one is in play.
