Did he, really? Said "all time" at the top of his post and edited to add the title.
Yeah yeah yeah. 54 was a good year. I remember it like yesterday.

Eisenhower was the man and that big bad UCLA team won 1/2 a championship.

Who is Candle? (Autocorrect I’m sure)

He’s at Toledo and has done a nice job there. The MAC has been a cradle of coaches. But there are lots of questions - no ties to the SE, probably too big a jump, etc. But he’s a winner.

Have you guys watched the UF basketball game at all? The commentators talked a little about Chip Kelly and his decision. One of the commentators said he’s a friend with Urban Meyer. He said Meyer told him UCLA reached out to him after he had left UF to gauge interest while he was at ESPN. The commentator said Meyer told him it was tough to turn down.

I watched the game but missed that exchange. I got irritated that they quit calling the game 1/2 way through the second half and just started telling stories & talking about good basketball teams etc. I get it - blowouts aren’t interesting - but I wanted to at least hear the names of the young guys that were playing so well.

Id gladly take Frost,Kiffin,Norvell or Morris if Chip passes

Kiffin destroys programs, just as crazy Al Davis asserted. He’s a good coach but has deep character flaws that make every place he’s been a HC despise him. One good season in the Sun Belt can’t wash off that stink.

Well it's finally Friday again. Pretty sure I read somewhere on this thread that Kelly would be announced on Friday. Pretty psyched!

I speculated that if he was headed to UCLA, it could be announced since their season finale is today.

It's a late one, though, so likely not.

I don’t think we were ever going to make an announcement until after the clown game...no matter who it is.

The start time for Cal-UCLA is 10:30 p.m. EST, so likely tomorrow at the earliest.

With our luck, right at the end of the third quarter as we're all singing I Won't Back Down.

That color commentator wouldn't shut up. If it was a radio broadcast you wouldn't have known a game was in progress.

I don't care who considered going there, UCLA is where coaches go to be fired, not win championships.

I've been back and forth and back and forth in my thinking over the past five days. I've synthesized a lot of info, enough that I feel the scales are tipped in our direction.

No. 1, I don't think he's afraid of the SEC. I think he embraces it as the offenses have all gone Saban stone age. He has a chance to come in and shake things up like Spurrier did in 1990.

No. 2, he hates to recruit. Well, he's gonna find himself living at airports if he wants to recruit UCLA. Not the same gig at Florida.

No. 3, you can only be unlucky for so long before you're due. We're due. Really, really due.

I'm ready to go back to having a life that doesn't involve staring at my phone all day. Any way we can get a mass notification sent out when new information hits?

If you like coaching in the NFL you aren't scared of the SEC... and besides the SEC is not even close to where it was 10 years ago.
