You guys are funny. EVERYONE is speculating, yet you'll believe one thing and not another. If you are assuming all the pro-Chip reports are false, why would you suddenly take the Forde report as gospel?

All of the Florida beat writers who said this was a done deal should be fired because they either have bs sources or they made stuff up. I'm not necessarily disappointed but don't expect a quick turn around. The next coach is gonna need 5 years to rebuild. I think Taggart would be perfect if we don't get Kelly. He's not young but not old and he cares about both sides of the ball.

Why? We agreed not to talk to any currently coaching individuals until the season is over. I bet we were talking with their agents. Only time will tell, hopefully about a week.

We don't have another week to wait on a guy that is not even employed as a coach. This is some prima donna BS stuff.

Every angle of this saga is a stretch, which is why I'm still laying out hope he pegs Florida. I think he wants to compete in the SEC. I gotta hear it from an official source before I believe it's UCLA.

You pick out Strong as if whatever is left over changes the meaning of the sentence if you insert their names. If we miss out on CK and SF, at least Strong is solidified in the state of Florida and understands the dynamics of coaching at UF versus anyone else out there being mentioned. Norvell? pass. Campbell? good God no. The only other option that understands how to coach at UF is a guy we can't mention here, and I don't think we want him nor he wants us. Tyggart is the only other guy.

Strong is who I hope they go after if we whiff on CK and SF. The rest of them are a waste of $ imo.

It is Football we are talking about right? The dynamic of coaching football is somehow interstellar physics compared to anywhere else???? Laughable. How much do you think Urban new about some mysterious “dynamic”? He was a f’ing football coach that knew how to win games, big games, lots of game, championship games. Not sure what dynamic you are trying to fit but if it ain’t about winning NC’s, sorry.....I am not interested in this special dynamic. To me, the use of not understanding the “dynamic” or fitting into the “culture” are words used by AD when they miss the guy they want and need a reason for why an agreement could not be reached.

You have now idea what was offered or what Kelly's demands were. And in the end if Kelly picked UCLA over UF, unless we lowballed him, then that's on him. (Someone else said this already.)

I just dont get this thinking. Lets say your a kinda lazy guy. You have two job offers that pay the same but one job lets you take two hour lunches and lets you run amuck. The other job wants you bad and you tell them your not interested. They should tell you you MUST work for us if we say you will? Come on, we all know Florida is the better job but do we want someone that doesnt want to be here? If Kelly really goes to UCLA, we will know more about him than we did. He isnt up to the pressure or the challenge. P.S. Its funny now that the same people that said we had a signed contract are back peddling...

Kelly is a mercurial bird and I'm not sure he was a good fit here anyway....moving on from him is the best thing we can do at this point. He played us. Let's get someone else, schedule the school he picks and go whip his ass.....
