Mullen is the “safe”hire.

Once we screwed up on the Kelly hire, and Frost must have politely told UF don’t bother, Mullen or Strong were bound to be chosen next.

If we're down to our third tier choices I think I'd rather go with Charlie than Mullet but I do think that Mullet will do no major damage to the program. At best he'll stabilize everything and in a few years we go get a real winner

1. Why did Frost say no? Was it the Nebraska job?
2. What about Norvell caused UF to pass on him?
3. Why no looks at Strong or Taggert?

Such a quick decision, if true, is baffling.
