Hows about we get some linebackers? and a running QB or six?

He’s very good. We also have no elite wrs committed and only really have Tyrie on the team. Robinson might be elite but it’s still wait and see. I don’t mind going after a guy who a lot of people wanted.

I'm not going to complain about recruiting WRs. I do believe we have some fat to cut, or at least bring in real competition to make them step up. However, didn't we all go apesht over WM trying to pull any kids to AU that he had been recruiting at UF before getting fired? My point being, wasn't there an issue over not being able to recruit a kid if the school you left was recruiting him and the school you are going to hadn't been recruiting him beforehand? Maybe that only applies to HS, and not JUCO?

Well Muschamp basically told them not to commit to UF while he was the coach. And yeah people went ape****, because Foley gave him such a loose contract that he was able to go to a rival and poach out kids that were leaning to UF. So why should we be upset when it happened to us. We ate it, and now they can.

Which is a violation of his contract and should have been used to get out of his buyout.

The tweet from the juco said"reconfirm" which might have meant that UF had already offered.

If true this is quite a gamble and in my opinion a big mistake. You've already got a stud like Carroll who's been a loyal and outspoken commit through all the craptastick mess that has been Florida football and now you slap him in the face by flirting with a kid who will most likely stick with the Dogs. We can't afford to be cute at this point.

Link? Is the friend Cam McDonald? I thought immediately when Kelly went to UCLA it was near a done deal that these 2 teammates, already playing in LA, and both previous USC verbals would for sure sign with Kelly if he offered. I still think that is very likely so would like to see the retweet you are referring to.
